Animal Presentation

Get up close and personal with our remarkable reptile collection during this on-campus field trip program. Our knowledgeable instructors will teach students about our animals' unique adaptations, defense mechanisms, predators/prey, and natural environment. Furthermore, they will educate students on how they can help protect the different species by making small changes in their every day lives. During this 30 minute program, students will also get the opportunity to carefully touch and/or hold the collection of animals used in the animal presentation. *Minimum of 100 students required to book this program.

THE CRITTER BUS

Step onto the Critter Bus to be transported to a world-class zoo housing snakes, lizards, frogs, and more! Get a close look at the animals while learning from the two on-board instructors.

STEM WORKSHOP

Working in small groups, students will participate in a grade level specific activity that furthers their understanding of the animals they’ve seen and touched.

DISSECTION LAB

Suit up with gloves and goggles for a dissection lab! Students will work in small groups to dissect the specimen listed below, learning about the anatomy and structural adaptations.
